2020 CENSUS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Game on, Montana! Can we count you in?
Complete the 2020 Census, and help your community bring home the state championship plus $20,000 in federal funding per Census response.
That’s right, Montana gets $20,000 in federal funding over a decade for each person counted in the Census. Based on Census data Montana receives:
- Almost $500 million each year for education programs
- Nearly $600 million each year for infrastructure
- Over $1 billion each year for health care
- Over $250 million each year for seniors, workers, and families
And, nationally, Census data helps fund $5 billion each year for Indian Health Services.
10 minutes of your time = 10 years of funding.
Be a Census Champion.
Our communities depend on Census data and federal dollars. There will be two winners for counties and two winners for tribal nations based on the percentage increase in self-response rates, as well as for the increase in the number of households that respond to the 2020 Census.
It’s the final countdown! The deadline is September 30.
